Jesson is developing faster than we can keep up. His vocabulary is getting better every day, and he picks up a new action most days too. He's becoming quite social too, he rides in one of those car-style grocery carts when we go to the Co-op and he says "Hi" to everyone who goes by. He's learning his farm animals and unfortunately labelled a woman's leather patchwork purse as a "cow" quite loudly last week while we were in the produce isle. When I turned around to see what he was looking at, I knew right away that he was talking about the hand bag but the woman holding it was really large and I wasn't sure how I'd explain what he yelled so I hid my head in the lettuce pretending to ignore him. When we brought the groceries home, he proceeded to unpack the soup cans into a cupboard I had left empty for him to play in, and all by himself! We just stood there and watched, it was so cute! He's infinitely busy, the joke is we don't have any recent pictures because we can't catch him. He seems to run everywhere. He hates to have his diaper changed like most kids his age, I guess it involves too much down time. It's amazing to see how fast he catches onto things, including the swear I said on the phone to his Grandma one evening, he caught that RIGHT AWAY. Scott's still mad at me for that one. This picture was taken before his recent hair cut, and after a nap. It's the only photo I caught before he jumped out of the oven drawer, half blinking. See, too fast to catch him.
