During delivery Conor had the cord wrapped tightly around his little neck and it had to be clamped and cut before he was fully delivered. As a result he spent some time in the care of the NICU experts being checked out. It took nearly 5 hours before he was alert enough to nurse. A very long 5 hours. Oxygen deprivation is a scary thing!
