Last weekend we spent as much time as possible taking in the festivities at our local homecoming celebrations. The town did an amazing job of keeping people busy. Scott spent some time getting us set up and shaded to watch the parade which had over 108 floats and lasted over an hour. Jesson's favorite parts were the machinery and ATV's of course. He LOVED the petting zoo. He was there for 45 minutes and didn't want to leave. The goats were a hit, and the colored rabbits were very friendly too. He had his first pony ride after he was done petting animals and he really enjoyed that too. We took in as much as my swollen feet would allow then headed home for naps in between. It was fun to see some people who had moved away, which was the whole idea behind the celebration. The weekend was a blast!
