Hello There!

It's been a while since our last photo posting, I guess I've let things slip for a while. We haven't stopped taking pictures of Jesson, just haven't gotten around to editing them and posting them here.
Things at our house have been busy over the past month or so. Scott listed and sold his farm land which took up a fair bit of time and thoughts. Now our single income life has become a little less stressful with farming out of the way.
In the beginning of March we went for our first ultrasound to check on baby #2. For the most part, everything is fine. It has 10 fingers, 10 toes, two arms, two legs, one head, etc. The only thing of concern that was found was a potential kidney blockage of some sort. The radiologist and my OB both stressed that this usually turns out to be absolutely nothing but it does warrant a second peek which was scheduled for 6 weeks later. We haven't found out the sex. We're still unsure as to whether we want to know ahead of time or not, we'll see.
Scott, Jesson and I had a two night stay at the Motel 6 in Saskatoon the following week. We swam in the salt water pool. Jesson's favorite was the "warm pool" or hot tub. We only let him dangle his feet in but he liked it anyway. We relaxed a lot, and did a little shopping. It was just what the doctor ordered.
On May 26th, good friend's Wade and Aimee Sebastian welcomed their new baby boy Tyler Wade into the world. He weighed 6 lb. His new sisters Paige and Keeley are reportedly thrilled with him and have had him to school for show-and-tell already. Congratulations guys!
A week ago we found a decent used car as a second vehicle. We didn't realize how much easier a second vehicle made life until we had one again. We just sort of learned to cope with one vehicle because we had to for a while. It's a full size car, old but in decent shape, and it rides nice on the highway.
Last week Jesson and I ventured to Luseland in the "new-to-us" car to visit with Stacey, Blaine and the kids. Jesson had a blast with Kaitlyn while Matthew was at school, then played with both of them after that. He LOVED seeing all of the animals, especially Rusty the dog, and enjoyed wearing his "bubblepoops" (rubber boots to you and I) to walk in the mud.
On Thursday last week Jesson and I went to Saskatoon to see the OB/GYN again. He said these interim visits are just a formality, more of an inconvenience than anything as the first trimester worrying is over, I feel great now, and there's no worry about delivery yet. The heart beat is strong, my blood pressure is fine, and I've had no vomiting or migraines for a while now, yipeee! We visit the radiologist again on the 21st of April for a follow-up ultrasound to check on that potential kidney blockage, we'll keep you posted.
Last Friday Scott made a solo trip to Saskatoon to trade in our fifth wheel on a larger one that will fit a family of 4 comfortably. Our Frontier was WAY too cramped. We had removed the couch last year to make room for the play pen, leaving us with only the dinette for seating area. When we bought that trailer it was the biggest one we could pull with our other truck. Now that we're driving the largest passenger truck known to mankind, weight isn't an issue anymore. We found a Cougar (281 EFS) fifth wheel with a kids room at the back that we fell in love with instantly. The link shows that it has a neo-angle shower when it actually has a tub and toilet on the driver’ side and a closet and sink on the opposite side. We have spent some time packing all our junk into it and so far we have lots of room left over. As we make a few trips, I’m sure we'll fill it up with the "you never know, we might need this" objects. We have a way of doing that. We are looking forward to taking it out on it's maiden voyage probably to Gordie Howe Park in Saskatoon the weekend of May 6th. Scott has that Friday off and the first trip should never be too far from home. You always find something that doesn't quite work the way it's supposed to on a new trailer and being close to a repair depot is a good idea just in case.
Well, that pretty much catches everyone up on the latest with us. It's been a busy couple of months! I'll try to keep things updated a little better from now on. We'll keep everyone posted on the baby's progress and post new photos of Jesson as we take them.
We Hope all is well with you.
Take Care,
McNally's.
