Happy 15th Birthday Chantelle Taksas. Scott, Jesson and I were invited to help celebrate Chantelle's birthday. For supper, Joe and Darlene fried up the fresh pickerel he caught the night before, it was amazing! Here, Jesson helped blow out the candle on the lemon pie (her favorite). Thanks for the visit guys! While at Taksas' house, Jesson got to sit on Joe's mini bike. He thought it was really COOL! Posted by Hello

Scott did manage to spend some time relaxing at the camp site during our 10 day stay. They toasted to taking it easy by the fire. Scott was quite busy during our stay with Kaz's wedding, and a 3 day meeting near Regina during the week. Jesson and I had a wonderful stay, we shopped, visited, and napped whenever possible. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Posted by Hello

Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Jason and Jill Kazakoff. They were married in a beautiful ceremony in Saskatoon on Saturday May 28th. The church was gorgeous, the reception was amazing, and everyone had a lot of fun. Jill's parents put on a heck of a party! Congrats guys. Posted by Hello

Here are my handsome men all duded up for a night of dancing. Scott in his tux and Jesson in his vest outfit we bought for Cari's wedding last year, it finally fit him. SEXY Boys! Posted by Hello

Jesson made a little friend named Rain. She found him amusing and spent most of the night chasing him while he ran away. She's a couple of months older than him, but I think they make a cute couple, don't you? Posted by Hello

YMCA was popular with the little ones too. We're not sure what Jesson was running on by this time, but he joined in anyway. Posted by Hello

At the gift-opening the following day, Jesson got to try out Kaz's authentic Rough Rider's helmet, a gift from the groomsmen. Posted by Hello

May long weekend was beautiful! Once the dock was in, Scott, Jesson and I went for a boat ride. This is the "first" boat ride for Jesson as he was only 9 weeks old and oblivious to his whereabouts during the real first ride. Mommy drove the boat (almost had to stay home due to life jacket restriction) while Daddy fished. He had a few nibbles but nothing landed. Jesson thought it was great fun. I'm sure he'll be thrilled when we use the gas motor instead of the trolling motor, more noise and smoke, right up his alley. Posted by Hello

A toast to the water level! It's been 3 seasons since Grandpa's dock has been out. Mom & Dad went from 150+ feet of beach to around 10-15 feet due to snow fall and spring rain. Thank you Mother Nature! Dad spent the past three years moving rocks and cleaning up weeds so now the area below the dock is sandy and perfect for swimming and fun. His hard work paid off, the area looks great! Scott and Dad got the dock put out on Friday while the weather was nice, then fished on Saturday and Sunday. They caught so many on Sunday I'm sure we'll be hearing about it for a long time. Good work guys! Posted by Hello

While the work was being done, Jesson, Grandma and I spent our time exploring the shore line and playing in Grandpa's boat. Posted by Hello

It wasn't all work though, Daddy and Jesson managed to spend some time playing with the new sand toys too! Posted by Hello
