Mom & Dad made sure Jesson had a BIG sandbox to play in on his birthday too. Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa McNally, who had a few extra rail ties kicking around, the job went fairly quickly.

On Saturday June 26th we held a birthday party for Jesson. Grandma and Grandpa McNally, Grandma and Grandpa Nicholetts, and Auntie Cari were all able to attend. Jesson had a blast opening presents.

A couple days before Jesson's birthday, Grandpa Nicholetts came to visit. He brought Jesson a fire hat, and a fire engine, along with a bunch of other neat things.

On June 24th , Jesson turned 1 year old! We celebrated by taking him for his first real haircut. He sat fairly still and only ended up with one bald spot from turning to see what everyone else was having done. He was so good he earned his first sucker. He liked it so much he almost ate the whole stick too.

On June 6th our family added a new addition. After a lengthy search, we chose Sammie the 2 year old Lab as our own. She's a great pet, has never "gone" in the house, rarely barks, and loves Jesson all to pieces.
